Digital Piano Warranty Terms and Conditions

Introduction

This page outlines the warranty coverage, terms, and conditions for digital pianos purchased from our company. 

Warranty Coverage

We provide a warranty for our digital pianos against defects in materials and workmanship for a specified period of time from the date of purchase. The warranty coverage may vary depending on the specific model of the digital piano  

Warranty Period

The warranty period for our 61 keys digital keyboard XTS-966 is 1 years and XTS-690F is 6 month. The warranty period begins from the date of purchase as indicated on the original purchase receipt or invoice. 

The warranty period for our 88 keys digital pianos typically is 2 years. The warranty period begins from the date of purchase as indicated on the original purchase receipt or invoice. 

*Please note: Without a receipt or invoice, we are unable to verify the purchase date and whether the item was bought from our store, resulting in the item not being covered under warranty.

Warranty Exclusions

The warranty does not cover the following:

  1. Normal wear and tear, including but not limited to, scratches, dents, or fading of the finish.

  2. Damage caused by misuse, abuse, negligence, accidents, or improper installation, including but not limited to, dropping, liquid spillage, exposure to extreme temperatures or humidity, or using the digital piano in a manner not specified in the product documentation.

  3. Damage caused by unauthorized repairs, modifications, or alterations to the digital piano.

  4. Damage caused by using the digital piano with accessories or parts not provided or recommended by our company.

  5. Damage caused by failure to follow the operating instructions, maintenance procedures, or safety precautions outlined in the product documentation.

  6. Damage caused by acts of nature, such as lightning, floods, earthquakes, fires, or other external factors beyond our control.

  7. Damage to external surfaces or cosmetic parts of the digital piano.

Warranty Claim Process

If you believe that your digital piano is covered under the warranty and requires repair or replacement due to a defect in materials or workmanship, please follow the steps below:

  1. Contact our customer service department or authorized service center, providing the necessary details of your digital piano, including the model number, serial number, and date of purchase.

  2. Our customer service or authorized service center will assess the warranty claim and may require additional information or evidence, such as photographs or videos, to verify the defect.

  3. If the warranty claim is approved, our customer service or authorized service center will provide instructions on how to proceed with the repair or replacement, including the shipping or handling arrangements.

  4. The repair or replacement will be carried out in accordance with our standard repair or replacement procedures and may take a reasonable amount of time depending on the availability of parts and service technicians.

 

Post-Warranty Repairs

Once the warranty period has expired, any repairs or services required for your digital piano will be considered out-of-warranty repairs and may be subject to charges. The charges for post-warranty repairs will depend on the nature of the repair, parts needed, and the labor involved. Our company reserves the right to determine the appropriate charges for post-warranty repairs.

  • Fee charge on spare part

OR

Request UKUNILI MUSIC technician on-site fixing or repair

  • Labour fee charge: RM 50

  • Fee charge on spare part

Repair Estimate

Upon receiving a request for post-warranty repair, our customer service department or authorized service center will assess the repair requirements and provide a detailed estimate of the repair costs, including parts and labor, before proceeding with the repair. The repair estimate will be provided in writing and will require your approval before any repair work is carried out.

Authorization and Payment

If you approve the repair estimate, you will be required to provide authorization for the repair and make payment for the repair charges as per the agreed-upon terms. The payment may be required in advance or at the time of picking up the repaired digital piano, depending on our company's policies.

Additional Charges

In addition to the repair charges, please note that you may also be responsible for any shipping, handling, or other related charges associated with the post-warranty repair. These charges will be clearly outlined in the repair estimate or communicated to you by our customer service department or authorized service center.
